1. We have two Plan Rooms - Watertown and Potsdam. Plans are available 24 hours a day. Each members is entitled to a door code.

2. On Wednesdays we send out our Plan Room Bulletin. Each member receives a copy.  The Bulletin includes every project we have in our offices. If we do not have a plan that a member is interested in, please let us know; we will make every effort to get a copy.

3. Negotiations - We serve as the member's Bargaining Agent (Designated Members). The following agreements are negotiated by this Exchange: Bricklayer Local #2, Ogdensburg & Watertown; Adirondack & Vicinity District Council of Local #747 Carpenters; Laborer Local # 322, Massena; Teamster Local #687, Watertown; and, Operating Engineers Local #545, Massena.

4. Mr. Petrie assists members with any labor problems in the Northern New York area. If the matter involves attorney fees, the Board of Directors have approved a sharing of payment policy.

5. The Exchange is involved with two apprenticeship programs: Watertown Carpenters and Massena/Watertown Laborers.

6. The Exchange has a excellent Scholarship Program. We have awarded scholarships to deserving students taking construction related course of study since 1969.

7. There are two social functions each year - in September the Annual NNYBE Banquet and in August the Annual Golf Outing.

8. The Exchange holds a Home Show annually in Watertown. The Show gives our area subcontractors and suppliers a chance to show their products and services to a large group of people.

9. The Exchange lets your Legislators know how we feel about upcoming Bills and Legislation.

10. We have a great deal of OSHA and Safety material for the members to use.

11. The Exchange sponsors several Safety Training Seminars which includes 10 Hour OSHA Certification; Scaffold/Ladder Training; American Red Cross/CPR; Trenching & Excavation.

12. We present Craftsmanship awards at our Annual Banquet.

13. We publish a Membership Roster and Classified Directory for architects, owners, Members and out of area contractors looking for bidders and suppliers.

14. We assist members with labor, architect, supplier and subcontractor problems.

1.           MEMBERS MAKE COPIES:  $3.00 a sheet for 24 x 36 or 30 x 42 size drawings.  $4.00 for XL size drawings. 

2.           CALL:  Call NNYBE staff to copy drawings located in the plan room:  $3.50 a sheet. 

3.           EMAIL:  Send an email of drawings to NNYBE for us to print:  $3.50 a sheet. 

4.           DISC:  Bring or send a disc to NNYBE for us to print:  $3.50 a sheet. 

5.           SCAN AND EMAIL:  NNYBE can scan and email drawings to you:  $3.00 a page.  (Note:  Drawings will only be emailed to the member paying for the service.) 

6.           SCAN AND CREATE A DISC:  NNYBE scan and create a disc:  $3.50 a sheet. 

Note:  NNYBE can ship drawings/discs for an additional fee.
